Pastor Paula has been with Church of the Eternal Hills since July of 2014. Paula grew up in Wichita, KS, where her love of God and the church was nurtured through a wonderful church family at Grace Presbyterian. Selected as a “National Presbyterian Honor Scholar,” Paula attended Sterling College in Sterling, KS, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech & Theatre, and Language & Literature with an emphasis in Secondary Education. She received her Masters of Divinity degree from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, OK.
Paula has been married to James Steinbacher since 1992, and together they have 2 children, Addie and Stephen. Paula has worked in youth ministry since her college years, and has served in various professional capacities at churches in Watertown, CT; Winfield, KS; Arkansas City, KS; and Newkirk, OK.
In her free time, Paula loves writing, gardening, making soup, and spending time with James and their pets, Fraser and Poppy.

Preschool Director
Kay has worked with Eternal Hills Christian Preschool for the past 20 years! She is originally from North Platte, NE and received a Bachelors Degree in social work from the University of Nebraska (Go Huskers!). She enjoys kayaking, dogs/animals, photography, and plays piano & sings.
Music Director
Karen Harris moved to Grand Lake in 2020, and Doug and herself joined CEH in 2022. Karen has an extensive background in Choral Music and Music Education having taught middle and elementary music and singing in many choirs in the front range, including Opera Colorado for six seasons.
Currently she sings with the Grand Chorale

Currently she sings with the Grand Chorale, also fulfilling the role of Assistant Director and librarian. Volunteers as a docent for the Kauffman House in Grand Lake, works on Habitat for Humanity
homes, is a board member of Grand Concerts, and volunteers at the Reparatory Theater in Grand Lake.
As an elder, Karen is on the worship committee.
